Meditation Gardens at the
Self-Realization Fellowship in Encinitas

These Meditation Gardens are on the grounds of the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple in Encinitas (Southern California), just a short distance off the Interstate 5 freeway. The Gardens are free and open from 9 am to 5 pm daily except Mondays to “pray, study, meditate, or just sit quietly enjoying the expression of God’s beauty in nature.”

The Temple itself is very apparent as you drive along Coast Highway, but the Gardens are hidden in the back between the Temple and the ocean.

Walking through the Gardens.
There are various peaceful walking paths all through the Gardens, and many of the Garden areas have beautiful ocean overlooks.
Many paths such as this one are surrounded by trees.

This is the same ocean path looking to the north. There are plenty of benches everywhere for meditation.
There seems to be a different kind of meditation area around every corner.
